Ece is a first-year PhD student at the MD Anderson/UTHealth Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. She earned her B.S. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Bilkent University. Her research interests are combining dry and wet lab approaches to advance current understanding in cancer research. Outside of the lab, you can find her discussing physics and philosophy, learning ancient languages, and spending time with her dog.
